# Earning Returns

#### How RWA investments generate returns

Tokens on Equiteez generate returns through two complementary mechanisms: ongoing income distributions and long-term capital appreciation. Both operate proportionally to token holdings and are accessible via secondary markets at any time.

**Income: Dividends & Distributions**

Token holders receive a proportional share of income generated by underlying assets — rental payments for real estate, and interest payments for tokenized debt instruments. Distributions are automatic, paid directly to your wallet on a monthly or quarterly schedule depending on asset type. Select assets also offer dividend reinvestment.

**Growth:** **Capital Appreciation**

As underlying asset values increase, token values rise proportionally. Appreciation may be passive — driven by market conditions or neighbourhood development — or actively generated through Equiteez's value-add programs, including renovations, commercial optimisation, and energy-efficiency upgrades. Gains are realised by trading on secondary markets, with no minimum holding period.
